German Bionic has been partnering with logistics specialist Fiege for close to two years, where our exoskeletons are deployed to support workers engaged in heavy lifting in their daily jobs – improving their safety and wellbeing while also boosting overall performance.
In a newly released video, Fiege provides a behind the scenes look into their massive “Mega Center” logistics hub in Ibbenbüren. See the video here:
Fiege logistics features the deployment of German Bionic exoskeletons.
It is now well into the second year that our exoskeletons are supporting the workers at Fiege, one of Europe’s logistics leaders, where our devices continue to improve operations. A new video produced by the company presents its Mega Center in Ibbenbüren and highlights our exoskeletons, which have rapidly become the standard in logistics, warehousing, construction and other sectors like healthcare, where heavy lifting is part of the daily work. The logistics hub houses more than 5 million items on over 155,000 m2 warehouse space, truly deserving its “Mega Center” name.
Our active exoskeletons don’t just redistribute the load to other parts of the body like passive exoskeletons do, they use battery-powered motors to give users extra energy to support them in their day-to-day work tasks. Besides protecting their health, they thereby also significantly reduce the onset of fatigue – from which the users also continue to benefit from after work when enjoying time with friends and family.
It’s great to see how Fiege’s pride in their operations in Ibbenbüren and their deployment of the German Bionic exoskeletons are portrayed in their new corporate video.
Well done to Fiege for embracing ongoing innovation and progress to improve their operations and empower their valued workers!
