Exoskeletons for the James Clay and Sons brewery

Updated: Nov 18

8 million liters of beer. That’s what the James Clay and Sons logistics and warehouse team moves every year at their headquarters in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, UK.

Great to see how the company is investing in the health and wellbeing of its valuable staff, with our smart, powered Apogee exoskeletons taking up to 30* kg of the load off the backs per lifting movement – and also providing active walking assistance.

*now it is 36 kilos

German Bionic is thrilled to hear about the huge positive impact our exosuits are already having across the board on the warehouse floor.

We've gone through the first phases of training and deployment of a set of exoskeletons from German Bionic at our HQ in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.
These suits support our skilled Logistics and Warehouse team to make their jobs more comfortable, efficient, and safe. They work to redistribute the strain of lifting, and effectively make the effort of a 30kg load feel the same as a 5kg load.
We're proud of this investment in the wellbeing of our colleagues, and look forward to continuing their deployment.

We're looking forward to hearing more about your experiences, James Clay and Sons!
